The Clay County Chamber of Commerce seeks to develop and promote programs that provide services and support specifically oriented to the small business sector of the Chamber membership. The Chamber has a wide array of services specifically designed to help your business grow and prosper in Clay County.
Business Consulting
The Chamber office offers individual business counseling services twice each week. A counselor from the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University of North Florida provides counseling services and, a member of the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), a program funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration provides counseling services. Contact the SBDC at (904) 620-2476 to set up a Thursday afternoon appointment or SCORE at 264-2651 to set up a Monday morning appointment.
Leadership Clay
Leadership Clay is a ten month program that acquaints emerging leaders to the opportunities, realities and challenges of our community. The curriculum is developed to stimulate thought and encourage discussion and debate. The program is geared so participants are motivated to make a personal contribution to the betterment of Clay County through acceptance of leadership positions in the community. Small Business Resource Center
The Small Business Resource Center is open to all residents of Clay County who are interested in starting their own business or expanding their current business. The Center contains various types of business-related resource materials including “how to” books, trade magazines and business publications. Additionally, there is computer with Internet access.
