Quick week with some seasonable cool air for the weekend.

The week as they seem to when busy went by quickly and the weekend is upon us.  Hopefully your weekend was productive.  As we plan for next week, visit the chamber website Home to learn about our Career Fair on Feb 8 which is unique in that HS juniors visit in the AM to learn about careers and the afternoon the community visits the vendors.  Sign up and bring your business.

The Clay County Legislative Delegation will meet on Jan 30th at the County Commission spaces from 4-6.  Plan on attending, getting involved and hearing from your elected state representatives.  The information is below:

The Clay County Legislative Delegation will be holding its annual public hearing on Monday, January 30th at 4:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the Commission Room at the Clay County Administration Building, 477 Houston Street, Green Cove Springs, Florida.


The legislative delegation includes State Senator Rob Bradley (R-Fleming Island), State Representative Travis Cummings (R-Orange Park) and State Representative Bobby Payne (R-Palatka). The delegation hearing is intended to afford local residents and officials an opportunity to request legislation or state funding and express opinions on issues to be considered by the state legislature during the 2017 Regular Session. The Legislature is scheduled to convene in session on March 7, 2017 in Tallahassee. The hearing is open to the public.
