As the interim president of the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, I want to take just a moment to introduce myself. I am extremely excited about this opportunity to lead such a fine organization and its dedicated staff. I am looking forward to building upon the Chamber's tradition of being the principal advocate for businesses in Clay County.
Clay County is a wonderful place to work and call home. Our quality of life is among the best in the state, and our caliber of business professionals makes the Chamber the natural leader within the community.
Over the course of the next several weeks and months, I will be reaching out to you, our members, to hear your comments, concerns and opinions on how we can make the Chamber an even more dynamic organization to assist you and your business to grow and thrive.
Strong and vibrant businesses are the foundation of prosperous communities. Our Chamber plays a vital role in ensuring our businesses are successful.
I will work hard with many community partners, including business leaders, non-profit organizations, elected officials and more, in order to position our county to be highly competitive and attractive to those who would consider locating or relocating their organization to Clay County.
So please do not hesitate to call me at the office at (904) 264-2651, send me an email to jtabor@claychamber.com, or just stop by.
Thanks and I look forward to working with you,

John Tabor
